U.S. Harpers Ferry Model 1816 Flintlock in 69 Caliber This one is dated 1817. It has many of the features of the 1812. The lock has the tit at the rear. Behind the hammer it is marked HARPERS ERRY -817 in three lines. Forward of the hammer is an EAGLE facing left over small U.S. The barrel is marked U.S. and EAGLE P in two ovals. It is cartouched V over JL on the wood opposite the lock, and V over AT at the rear of the wood. The 69 caliber barrel is 42 inches long. The stock is 54 1/4 inches long. The front swivel is intact. U. S. Springfield Model 1808 Flintlock in 69 Caliber This one is dated 1810 on the lock with U.S. over an EAGLE over SPRINGFIELD
forward of the hammer. It is proofed V EAGLE P on the barrel with
U.S. above the tang. The barrel is 44 1/2 inches long. The
walnut stock is 56 inches. The bayonet lug is on top of the barrel
and is set back 1 1/4 inches. The top of the butt plate is dated
1812. The stock is very similar to the Charleyville in that it is
round behind the wrist. Both swivels are intact. A really nice
example.

U.S. Springfield Model 1821 Flintlock Dated 1833 This one has the 42 inch 69 caliber smooth bore barrel. The bayonet lug is recessed 1 1/2 inches, and the stock is 54 inches long. It has the brass detachable pan. The bands are retained by a front mounted band spring, except on the nose cap, which is back mounted. It has the original ram rod and sling swivels. Confederate Conversion of the Model 1819 Hall Rifle This is a very unusual conversion and quite simple. The pan and frizzen were removed, a nipple inserted into the barrel and a piece of steel replacing the flint in the jaws. The top of the action is marked J.H. HALL, H. FERRY, U.S. 1831 in four lines. The overall condition is really excellent. The bore is still 52 caliber with straight rifling. The wood is excellent with minor dings, and no splits. It retains the original ramrod. Murphy's book mentions these conversions having been done in North Carolina at the very first of the War for Southern Independence. A very nice piece of Confederate ingenuity! ANTIQUE! British Three Band Tower Enfield in 577 Caliber This fine Enfield is dated 1857. It has a serial number 4767 on the barrel under the rear sight. The stock is oil stained, but overall very good, with no cracks or missing wood. The long range rear sight is intact. The bore is good, but dark. It has the original ramrod.
